Introduction
Maxum Benefits Group is an association of independent insurance agents and brokers.
We provide objective and expert guidance for those eligible for Medicare and businesses seeking an improved bottom line through affordable benefits and / or relief from the repetitive and sometimes high risk tasks of administering an employee benefits program.
The “Group” or association is made up of :
- Ann and Steve Lawrence of Steve Lawrence & Associates, LLC in Hendersonville, TN
- Michael Wertenberger, Jr of Premier Benefits, Inc. in Gallatin, TN
- Joseph Graves of I Hate Buying Insurance.com in TN & CA
- Melanie Williams & Chris Lewis of DP Brokerage in Jacksonville, FL
This team works together to find or build and manage fully insured or self-funded group insurance programs and administrative platforms and services that meet the diverse needs of our employer clients. We also assist employers and individuals with how to best handle their Medicare eligibility.
The group’s founders, Ann & Steve Lawrence, both began their insurance careers in 1985. Each has over 40 years of experience meeting the needs of employers with as few as 2 employees to those with multiple thousands of employees nationwide and also 2 decades of assisting Medicare beneficiaries with their options. No one in the group has under a decade of experience in the industry.
