First, enrolling in Medicare is NOT mandatory. You may have heard there are penalties for not enrolling timely. There may be circumstances or exceptions that apply to your situation and negate any penalties. But depending on if/when you plan to retire and how many employees your employer has and what their medical benefits cover, it may or may not be in your best interest to enroll in or to delay your Medicare benefits. We know group insurance, Medicare and their rules and can help you understand your options.
Second, Medicare is not free. Most people have to pay a monthly premium (some more than others) for these benefits. We can help you understand your costs.
Third, Medicare does not cover everything. There are deductibles, copays and coinsurance, that are unlimited (no max amount you pay) as well as excluded services and no coverage outside of the United States (some exceptions near the US borders). We can help you understand options to reduce your financial exposure to high dollar medical care.
And most importantly, EVERY individual's circumstances differ based on prescription needs, provider preferences, medical conditions, financial circumstances and lifestyle choices. What fits the needs of your spouse, your friend or your sibling may or may not be optimal for you. We can help you understand what works and doesn't work for your circumstances.
Our principals, Ann & Steve Lawrence, are extremely well versed in all things Medicare. They can help you understand ALL of your options and there is NEVER ANY OBLIGATION FOR A CONSULTATION.
If Medicare is a good fit for you, as independent agents they represent many different companies for Medicare Supplements, Medicare Advantage Plans (Part C) and Medicare Prescription Drug Plans (Part D). They can help you sort through the avalanche of mail and media advertisements from all the different plans to find an appropriate option for you.
CONTACT US BELOW for a no-obligation consultation. We won't sell your contact info or hound you with emails, phone calls or mail. We promise!
We do not offer every plan available in your area. Any information we provide is limited to those plans we do offer in your area. Please contact Medicare.gov or 1-800-MEDICARE to get information on all your options.
